Pet Companion Program
Volunteers and Furry Friends Needed
Visits from our furry canine friends can make a huge difference to patients and their families. The simple act of petting an animal can relieve stress, reduce anxiety and even relieve pain and discomfort. The gentle nature of our pet companions provides comfort and often prompts fond memories of pets our patients have known and loved during their lives.
To request a visit from one of these special creatures, please contact your Social Worker or Case Manager at 728-8848. For more information on the Pet Companion Program, contact the Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 406-728-8848.
Tom and Moose Together
Our pets have one simple goal – to give and receive love. Their visits make patients feel loved and help melt away fear, loneliness and stress. Trained to be good companions, they relish the opportunity to be of service to patients and their families.
